Although there are HP part numbers for the tape (5010-0574) and the
documentation (5960-0181), these are used for internal purposes only, and
are not orderable.  These materials are being shipped with current C2212/13A
disc drives and upgrade kits.

You can obtain the patch electronically from your local HP support
representative, or, if you have support services, from the Response Center.
Ask for patch "S300/7.0/p107".  If neither of thse avenues are available to
you, let me know and we can make alternate arrangements.

Actually, it takes 3 addresses.  I hope you haven't configured two devices
on the same address.  The results could easily include the problems you
report.

Against the possibility that you are seeing actual media errors, another
snippet of code you might like to have is an on-line sparing routine for
physical blocks.  Ask your rep for a copy of "scsi_spare".  It is supplied
as source code.  If the rep doesn't have a copy, I can supply it.

I could just email all this to you, but we in the factory don't like to send
patches directly to customers without at least advising the account SE or
CE, and I don't know who that is.
