We are now planning to develop a small radar to observe wind velocities 
in the altitude from 100 to 2000 km.

We decided to use HP9000/433 (HP-UX) for the radar control 
and the data taking, and want to use 8mm tapes for the data storage.
I am wondering if we can successfully use such an 8mm tape driver 
for HP9000/433, because HP supplies us with DAT, but does not with 8mm.

Is it possible for us to connect an 8mm tape driver to HP9000/433 
with HP-UX, and to use it for the data strage?
