Message-ID: <1050@aut.UUCP> Date: 24 Oct 90 12:26:05 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: Ascom Autelca AG, CH-3073 Guemligen Switzerland Lines: 37 My situation: HP9000/835S with HPUX7.0 as mailserver (name=aut). Some Sun-Server (case1, case2, etc) , a lot of WS. The Suns all forward their mails to "aut" via SMTP over TCP/IP. "aut" has a uucp connection to "hslrswi" which is my mailfeeder. The problem: Sendmail on "aut" doesn't forward unresolved Internet-style (@) addresses to "hslrswi". The file (supported) sendmail.cf contains following lines: # UUCP relay for unresolved ! addresses (via UUCP) DUhslrswi # UUCP relay for unresolved ! addresses (via SMTP) DW # SMTP relay for unresolved @ addresses DShslrswi I miss something like the following lines in this file: # SMTP relay for unresolved @ addresses (via UUCP) D?????? Is it possible to force sendmail forward unresolved @ addresses via UUCP to "hslrswi" (which is a very smart host) without editing the Address Rewriting Rulesets or the Mailer Definitions section in the supported sendmail.cf file ?
