I also have a customer who runs Coherent on the Quantum fine. As I recall, the problem with Unix and varients is that they need a certain number of SPT. What's nice is that most IDE drives allow you to set the HDS, CYLS, and SPT to whatever you want as long as the combined add up to a drive size that is = or < the capacity of the drive. Michael W.
