The requirement that I am having trouble meeting is "an API (ie. software access) to a D-channel LAPD service" This means that I should be able to write a C program on the PC which builds and analyses ISDN layer 3 messages (eg. a Q.931 process, for example) which sends layer 3 messages down to the datalink service on the card for subsequent transmission in the I-field of an I-frame, and vice-versa on receive. The LAPD service must run transparently on the card. Most cards offer a (non-standard) layer 3 interface to call control functions. Anyone come accross a card that exposes its datalink SAP? I don't want to buy a source license if possible. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance, Paul Taylor. -- Paul Taylor (VK3BLY), Australian Centre for Unisys Software (ACUS). pault@mlacus.oz
