Planer refers to the motherboard, and parity refers to memory parity error. If this problem persists, it is probably your SIMM's. Even if it is intermittant, it would indicate a possible problem just waiting to happen. I recommend running the reference disk diagnostics ASAP (if possible) and planning on a new SIMM set just in case. You might end up having to go to a service center to confirm what is wrong. Sorry the news is so gloomy. There's no way to be positive on any of this, but given IBM's terminology, that's the only thing I can think of. Hope your problem is resolved quickly and cheaply!
