    Greetings,
      This is a request for two utilities ...
         1) A program which could be run on a laptop (t1200xe)
          which would stress the machine (devices, cpu, etc) in 
          order find its faults ASAP.
         2) A ram resident popup notepad, maybe with hypertext
          abilities.
      I'd like to know about PD/SW/inexpensive stuff.
