The 68070 is manufactured by Philips, but in the USA it is sold by Signetics (a division of North American Philips Corp.). I have both the data sheet and User's manual in front of me as I type this, and the main name on the data sheet is Philips (every page) but the back cover belongs exclusively to Signetics. The only mention of Philips on the back is in small letters stating that Signetics is owned by Philips. Everybody is right about who makes the 68070 (unless you said Intel :-) -dave
