It seems to be that on some modems the program simply hangs the whole machine when run. I would like to correct the code in the program to avoid this rather umseemly behavior but I'll need some help. Does anyone know the correct calls to open the Mac serial lines? Is there a sample program I can use to copy from? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jim O'Dell jim@fpr.com P.S. A simple code fragment would be most useful. I'll put it into v 3.x before I mail it out.
