I'm an idiot. From: gck6910@cec1.wustl.edu (Geoffrey Charles Kinnel) Path: cec1!gck6910 The original message was: I have an '87 SE with two internal drives (800K). The lower internal (drive 1(?)) started giving me "This is not a Macintosh Disk"about a year ago and since then I have simply used the upper internal. I am thinking of getting it fixed (so it can't have puppies) and I am wondering about my options. Is it cheaper to get it repaired or replaced? I think I could replace it if I could buy an internal drive. What is the likely cause of this problem? Alignment? Any help or advice would be appreciated. Geoff
