Just as a followup to my post about the "popping" noise that occurs with the
Sound Manager under system 6.0.7, it appears that the "popping" noise is
audible only on machines without the Apple Sound Chip.  I wonder if Apple
forgot that most of the population has low-end macs, and that this clicking
noise is going to drive us crazy.  (Or maybe it is an incentive to buy the
new MacIIsi! :-) )
