I make a full screen picture, copy it, paste it into a PICT 0 resource with ResEdit, and reboot. Everything works, except the bottom half inch or so of the screen is full of garbage. On some attempts I could even see some of MZ's scroll bar preserved in the background. Is this a problem with DeskPict, MandelZot, my system, or me? I'm using DeskPict 1.1, either MandelZot 2.1 or 3.0, ResEdit 1.2, and System 6.0.5 on a IIcx with Apple's 13" color monitor. On a related topic, are there any archives of color startup screens out there? I don't have any graphics programs that can handle color, so I can't roll my own (except with MandelZot, of course). Thanks, Steve (langer@control.uchicago.edu)
