It happens only irregularly (read: I haven't had the chance to track down the real problem) but it manages to make an application permanently "busy." i.e. when I try to relaunch the application I get a "The file "Blah" could not be opened/printed (-39)" alert. This happens most often to QUED/M and Word. Usually I just replace the broken application with another copy and continue on my merry way. But.... the crux of this posting is that my backup copy of QUED/M is broken (for some other, unknown reason); so, 1) Has anyone see/fixed this before? and 2) Is there any way to fix the "busy" application? All help would be greatly appreciated. Bill Noon -- p3ay@vax5.cit.cornell.edu
