Set the number format to 0.00. Now type "1/2" without the quotes. Why do I get 31413.00 instead of .50? I am using a MacIIcx under Multifinder, system 6.0.7, 5 megs RAM. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Chris p.s. Sorry for the flurry of requests. I'm still getting the hang of the Mac's OS, after spending 5 years learning about the brain damaged TOS OS from my old Atari ST. :-) ------------------------------+--------------------------- Chris Mauritz |D{r det finns en |l, finns cmm1@cunixa.cc.columbia.edu |det en plan!
