Florida Lines: 23 Tom Leonard is actually looking for testers and programmers in Jacksonville, Florida. He's posted a note at the University of North Florida on the job search board next to the computer science division office. MacIntosh development is a pretty dry prospect in Jax (unless you're working for CSX Technology Division where they're HEAVILY investing bucks in automating their train programs). Overall, Jax is a 95% COBOL / RPG shop area (gag me!). I guess Tom's not too interested in getting a connection from UNF to Usenet. Too bad, because it's a free connect (I know...but all flames about the "costs" of Usenet will go to /dev/null ;)). I don't know Tom personally but it appears he's still going to be developing Mac products (the job posting specified Mac development/testing). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Steve Hite CS Graduate Student @ University of North Florida, Jacksonville, Florida Home System: ...uunet!gatech!uflorida!unf7!hite386!steve / steve@hite386.UUCP School Acct: ...uunet!gatech!uflorida!unf7!shite
