I have encountered a strange error while working with hypercard
1.2.5 (?).  I have a stack with approximately nine cards in it.
If I try to modify a field on either card #3 or card #9, I get
a dialog box stating:  "unexpected error 1277" with a "sorry"
button.  My questions are:

	(1)  can anyone tell me WHAT error 1277 is?  This is not a
	     standard system bomb dialog, but whatever the error is
	     makes hypercard terminate.

	(2)  where can I find information about error numbers from
	     hypercard?  the documentation supplied with the system
	     software is not very robust in this area.

I'm running system 6.04, Multifinder, assorted inits and cdevs.  I can
duplicate this error on a Mac SE and a Mac IIcx.  I am not a hypercard
programmer/expert.  Any help would be appreciated.
