I noticed the same thing. I solved the problem by creating new sound suitcases with the sound mover package. I am also using Suitcase II, if this makes any difference. First close out all of your sound suitcases. Then use Sound Mover to create new suitcases. Copy the sounds out of the old suitcase into the new suitcase.
