After seeing sound input demonstrated with the new Macs, and after being told that the new sound cdev (in the 6.0.7 distribution) would treat the SID-II just like a MacRecorder, I installed system 6.0.7. But, when I open the control panel, and then select the Sound cdev, there is no "chooser-like" mechanism for selecting the sound input hardware. I presume that I am missing some software (a device driver). Can anyone tell me how to procede so that I can use Apples cdev to control mt SID-II. Thanks in advance, I'll sumerize and post the results. -- Marty Weinhous weinhous@castor.wustl.edu Radiation Oncology, Washington U.
