I posted a request for information on where I could purchase a Male-Female
Mini DIN-8 cable.  Many thanks to all those who responded.  I tried various
mail-order places for a second time, but they definitely did not have the
one I was looking for.  Fortuately, I found it this afternoon at a local
computer supply store (I could have sworn they didn't have it before...)
