What are the issues in using arenas vs shared memory ? How can I block a process untill another does somthing required in shared memory ? I am currently using shared memory, but find it somewhat buggy. I can start one process, but not the other untill the first is started, even though they should both create a shared memory segment. I started with the shared memory demo in 4Dgifts. Are there any demos of arena. When would I use one and not the other ? dan. +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | karron@nyu.edu Dan Karron | | . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
