Message-ID: <54471@brunix.UUCP> Date: 26 Oct 90 13:57:53 GMT Sender: sun-managers-relay@eecs.nwu.edu Reply-To: Avi Freedman Organization: Math Department, Temple University, Philadelphia Lines: 12 Approved: news@ADS.COM Is the format.dat that comes with SunOS correct? It has a (commented out) entry for the 191-766 which one two new drives flakes out and tries to access sectors past the last track (1614). I tried correcting a block miscount in the partition table, but that didn't help. I managed to cook up a restricted fromat.dat which only had 1580 or so cylinders, but installboot doesn't seem to work. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Avi Freedman
