Well, I'm still trying to get Bnews 2.11.19 to build under Ultrix 4.0.
I now have all of the inews modules compiling successfully (except for a
few warning messages), but they don't want to link together.  Here is
what happens:

gcc  inews.o ifuncs.o iextern.o control.o fullname.o elock.o funcs.o funcs2.o he
ader.o ndir.o uname.o clientlib.o nntp.o getdate.o  ipathinit.o  -o inews -ldbm
inews.o: Undefined symbol _s_find referenced from text segment

ifuncs.o: Undefined symbol _s_read referenced from text segment
ifuncs.o: Undefined symbol _s_close referenced from text segment
ifuncs.o: Undefined symbol _initdbm referenced from text segment
control.o: Undefined symbol _s_find referenced from text segment

In this example, I've used gcc, but I get the same result when using cc.

Has anyone successfully rebuilt Bnews under Ultrix 4.0?  Is there a
later patchlevel that I should be using?  Any help would be appreciated.
