However so far I have not been able to do so. I did the following: 1. authorized these nodes to access server. 2. used xauth to let clients be able to access the server. All I get is "fatal xlib io error". Dec says that for clients from ultrix need some other programs that must be present with decwindows to allow proper communication. I have little idea. Could it be that tcp/ip impementaion of decwindows is different from the one on local convex/suns? It is very unlikely that only from ultrix with whatever extra s/w one acn have remote access to decwindows and not from any other! I shall highly appreciate any help on this problem.
