One source was an outdoor light which I find kind of messy for little projects. I found a kit at HeathKit for $25 which comes with the sensor, a small circuit board, and works from a 9V battery. Of course you have to assemble it, but it comes with all the parts and diagrams as well as a nice description of how it works. The pre-drilled and printed circuit board is 4" X 3" and the sensor mounts directly on it. Todd M. Miller
