A friend is writing a fiction story. One of the scenes involves an AWACS 
sending a flight of two F-15's to interecpt a target, close to visual range,
and report back.

Can anyone give me a snapshot of the procedures in the AWACS from the time the
target appears on the scope until report? I particularly need to know exactly
what the radio procedures with the F-15 are.
