That's a significant sign of androcentrism. I don't think you have understood my point of view. I agree with you in that I think that most of what is associated with the Judaeo-Christian-Islamic tradition; the intolerance, the oppression, the hierarchy, the gender bias, the sexism, is disgusting. However, buried under all the crap is a principle of equality. Now let me sincerely apologize for the fact that a person with male genitals expounded this view but if it makes you feel any better I'm sure that there were many women both before and after Jesus who also held a similar world view. A male dominated world would not place a women at the centre of an organized religion. A principle of equality means, I believe, fighting against oppression, against gender bias, against sexism, against racism, against capitalism. If we have to throw out religious rituals and write a new bible to achieve this, then it's fine by me. T. Hartin
