Hi! I'm working on an I/O benchmark project for a graduate
Computer Architecture course. Consequently, I am looking for
ideas, references, etc. about the following:

   o I/O benchmarks that others have produced/attempted/studied

   o System usage statistics, i.e. the size, number, and type of
     I/O operations used in a "typical" computing environment
     
Any help you can provide will be much appreciated.
