I would like to use ORACLE V6 for a test implementation of this tool, however I run into trouble finding out about internal data at query evaluation time, e.g. the number of page accesses for a query. This is bacause ORACLE implements only a restricted version of the EXPLAIN statement (only EXPLAIN PLAN). Has somebody found out a workaround to get this data? Does ORACLE plan to provide the full functionality of the EXPLAIN statement in the future. Please email, I will summarize, thanks. -- Martin R.
