I have compiled ingres 8.1 on a sun 3/80 with sunos4.1.
All seems to work fine, using the interactive 'ingres' is a pleasure.

But, as the READ_ME says, there are problem with equel.

Trying '## ingres demo' with debug gives this:

IIingres
KSORT SYSERR: pb_write: proc -32

SYSERR: pb_read: read error (0)

I've tried to set NOFILE to 20, since sun's NOFILE is 256, but
it does not help.


Have anyone succeded with sun?
(Is there maybe some newer versions?)
