I've not seen V.32 uucp throughput higher than 650 bytes/sec on my system and frequently see PEP throughput in the 1500 - 1700 byte/sec range. The V.32 modem is a USR DS (no V.42, yet); PEP modem is a TB+. -- Mike Squires (mikes@iuvax.cs.indiana.edu) 812 855 3974 (w) 812 333 6564 (h) mikes@iuvax.cs.indiana.edu 546 N Park Ridge Rd., Bloomington, IN 47408 Under construction: mikes@sir-alan@cica.indiana.edu
