	Have you tried TELEBIT modems?  The T2500 PEP/V.32/V.42/V.42bis
	and the T1500 V.32/V.42/V.42bis work quite well for me.  there
	is an added incentive for UNIX UUCP use in PEP and V.32 in both
	these modems due to TELEBITs protocol support of UUCP, Kermit,
	X-modem, and Y-modem.  If you would like TELEBIT literature,
