Several days ago I posted a rather inflammatory message regarding
some code posted to allow mail mode to use an abbrev list instead
of a .mailrc file. This was posted in extreme haste, and I now
regret the tone of the message. I have had a couple of exchanges with
the original poster, as well as others, and I hope that these people
now accept that my intent was not as negative as I made it appear.
I still have reservations about the idea of abbrevs used for this
purpose, but did not intend to personally attack Jamie or anyone
else.
