When I give emacs the M-x help-for-help or C-h C-h C-h commands I get a help buffer that is completely blank. No error messages are generated. As soon as I hit another key the help buffer disappears. There seems to be nothing wrong with help.el nor help.elc. I tried recompiling help.elc but I still get the same effect. Has anyone else ever seen this before?
