Your recent posting doesn't quite work with compressed info files.  It
seems to interact with userlock.  When you uncompress the file,
userlock thinks that it's been modified.  When someone else tries to
use info, he gets warned that another user is already modifying it.

I haven't looked into the cause yet.  Any ideas?
