Lines: 35 Dear People, I'm trying to write some EGA graphics software to run under an operating system which doesn't allow BIOS calls, ie I have to program the CRTC directly. To help, I bought a copy of Richard Wilton's "Programmers Guide to PC & PS/2 Video Systems" (Microsoft Press) - but it seems more concerned with the BIOS than `direct' programming and so doesn't offer solutions to the problems I am experiencing. Can anyone recommend a publication which I can get hold of here in the UK without many problems, that can help me write EGA software to: (1) Establish Various Modes (2) Plot Pixels (3) Draw Lines (4) Draw Circle/Ellipse and Region Fill ..or, can anyone offer constructive advice?? I would be _eternally_ grateful!! Please EMAIL as I normally don't read this group, and if there is a good response, I will summarise and post as appropriate. Thanks in advance!!
