And, yes, the moderator of any group has the right to include editorial comment in any message posted to the group. This is common knowledge, and accepted practice. If you were creating a eunet group, you would follow eunet procedures. In the main groups the procedure is to use ".d" for followups, which was pointed out when it became clear what you were doing. Would it have been so hard to follow this clear precedent? As for the complexity of the vote... it has clearly been shown that this is *not* a serious problem.
