The "$$" appears to be a request for information about possible non-free software. Please don't use the GNU mailing lists to give or request information about proprietary software. It's reasonable to discuss how to make GNU software work on a given proprietary system, because then the GNU software is the real topic. But if the topic goes farther afield, it is off the subject of the mailing list as well as at odds with the purpose of the whole GNU project.
