Copies of the Forth-79 and Forth-83 Standards documents are available as item # 300 and 305 from Forth Interest Group P.O. Box 8231 San Jose, California USA 95155 The cost for airmail outside the USA is $18 each. The fig-Forth glossary (fig-Forth Installation Manual) is also available as item number 502 also for $18. [Prices within the USA are $15 + tax] Add a $2 handling fee to all orders. These documents are worth reading although, you should be warned, compliance with Standards is voluntary. You can readily find systems claiming to be "Forth-83" which aren't. Being able to read is not a prerequisite for implementing Forth.
