It seems to me that the only purpose of this newsgroup is to discuss new languages, availablility of language processors, and language features (good and bad). If this results in bashing certain languages with more than their fair share of 'bad' language features - that's just part of the correct function of this newsgroup. In fact, how is it possible to discuss the relative merits of different languages without 'bashing' some of them (at least in part)? J. Giles
