Can someone, (Larry?) either post here or send to hhg1@gte.com a list
of the MAJOR release dates for Perl and what was the features of that
release. The .h files has all the info I need for 3.0 releases but I
would like earlier. Here is something along the lines ...

Jan 1987      Perl started in alpha 0.1 -0.9
June 1987     Perl 1.0 released. Major features include. (platforms are
              UNIX, ...)
July 1988     Perl 2.0 released. Major features include...

I hope this ends up in Perl's FAQ.
