The deadline for papers submitted  to the Advanced Research in VLSI
Conference (Santa Cruz, March 1991) has been changed from 15 October
1990 to 1 November 1990.

We are making this change because several journals could not correct
our announcements of the original deadline in time, and because we
received only 30 papers by the 15 October deadline.

If you have a paper that did not quite make the 15 October deadline,
please submit it anyway!  Notify us (karplus@ce.ucsc.edu and
sequin@miro.berkeley.edu) electronically of your intention to submit,
and mail 5 copies of the paper to
