The individual configuration will be allowed by using several modules on our bus-structure-system. Now we are seeking an OS which provides the following features: o multitasking o multiuser (up to n ports!) o stability o device drivers o SCSI ports o available kernel sources in C We don't know if MINIX is the right OS for our system. Has anyone out there experiences with MINIX and its portation, problems etc. ? We're interested in informations about positive and negative aspects of MINIX in relation to other operation systems! Please don't follow-up because we are not sure if we receive all messages correctly. bye Olli, Michi and Tommy -- +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | DiHiCom-Developers-Team (dihicom%hds@obh.in-berlin.de) | | Michael Diebold Munsterdamm 32 - 1000 Berlin 41 (Germany) | | Thomas Hildmann Quickborner Str. 71 - 1000 Berlin 26 (Germany) | | Oliver Brandmueller Detmolder Str. 64 - 1000 Berlin 31 (Germany) | +-------------------- unido!fub!dobag!obh!hds!dihicom ------------------+
