I'm currently trying very hard to install OS/2 SE 1.2 on my Victor AT,
but after several succesful installs, I always encounter the same
error when trying to boot the system:

  The copyright notice is displayed and after approx. 2 secs.
  the message

      ....nonmaskable error...
 
      Trap 0002 Error  

       ...contents of registers (vary each time)

      
      at location 0220:3494


  is displayed and the system halts.


Any help regarding this problem will be greatly appreciated!

My hardware consists of:

    Victor V286C AT
    RAM: 1 Meg on motherboard and 2 Meg on a BocaRam AT PLUS
    Disk: 1 ST277-1 with RLL interface (2:1)
    Controller: DTC (marked 5187CRH)
    EGA display and one 1.2 Meg disk-station
