Setup: PS/2 80, OS2 1.1, 16meg, 300meg drive, nicps2 ethercard Need: Telnet or other ethernet typ comm package Problem: I don't know @#$% about os2 I've tried the standard NCSA telnet, Clarkson's Telnet, and the Packet driver versions. Now matter what I run or try, I get "reading config file" and bango, hung like a throughbred. So, If anybody has managed to get Telnet/FTP stuff running under OS2, PLEASE give me an E-Mail. I know DOS pretty well, or at least well enough to get Telnet running under 5 different versions of DOS and about 20 different PC/AT/Clones (and the PS2-80 (only one)). THIS IS IMMEDIATE NEED!!!! Thanks for anything you can help me with. BTW, Long time ago, running telnet under the "dos" window or whatever did work. But that was 18months ago, and that wasn't me :-) /----------------------------------------------------------------------------\ | Scott "gaspo" Gasparian - Teenage Mutant Ninja Technician | "back user!"| | Supercomputer Computations Research Institute |\ ,_ _/\ | | 400 SCL, F.S.U., Tallahassee, FL 32306-4052 |/ _/ '__ \| | gaspo@ds1.scri.fsu.edu | "I do NOT do lunch, I do NOT ||/ / ,," __o/| | gaspo@scri1.scri.fsu.edu | wear 'power ties', and I do | \_\|_\, / | | (904) 644-4277 / 222-5630 | NOT EVER do COBOL!
