I have a quote for a Micropolis 669 MB SCSI disk for $1750
($2000 including shoebox and cable for a Sun SLC).
This price includes a 5 year warranty.

This price is at least $300 below other quotes.
It is also the only quote I have for the Micropolis disk
(others use Wren V, Wren VI, HP, or Maxtor).

I am interested in hearing from people who are using
the Micropolis disk (especially on Suns).
Is there any reason the Micropolis disk is cheaper ?
Are there realiability or performance problems with this disk ?
