Lines: 17 I seek advice, knowing nothing of the mysteries of ethernet or WAN generally. Monash Uni has a multicampus ethernet backbone to which I have a Mac subnet. I want to be able to print desktop publishing proofs at a campus 10km away. The office concerned has all PCs. How can I achieve this and still allow them to print on the postscript printer? Do I need a multigate? Appletalk cards in the PCs? Can I also fileserve to their PCs and send email to them (Quickmail + GatorQ SMTP bridge)? Why do coat hangers multiply in your closet (which is called a wardrobe in Australia BTW)? Answers to all or some of these questions would help me to sleep, and for those that come, thanks in advance. -- John Wilkins, Manager, Publications Services Monash University, Melbourne, Australia Postal Address: PO Box 197, Caulfield East, Victoria 3145 AUSTRALIA Tel: +613 573 2099; Fax: +613 573 2729
