I figured out what the problem was with configuring the IBM TCP/IP product
for OS/2.  It turned to be a problem with the setup in the communications
manager. I had configured the ethernet protocol to be IEEE 802.3 instead
of the correct protocol of DIX Version 2.0. Thanks to everyone who offered
suggestions on what may be causing the problem. -Rich
