Lines: 32 Has anyone heard of or have familiarity with a product called ABE/RT. The product is sold by Cimflex Teknowledge. My boss is all excited about it. I have read through some high level desriptions of it. My best guess at its utility is as a CASE tool for system design and architecting. I think there may be facilities for simulation and possibly carrying the desing into an implementation. I would like to hear any comments about it from someone who has seen or used the product. Thanks for any information. As a humorous aside: Have you ever sat through or read a description of something and felt completely baffled and bewildered. I sure felt this way while reading about ABE. I came across the following sentence: "Each framework specializes the very general MOP computional model, allowing various applications or parts of an application to be expressed in particularly perspiuous ways." I commented to my office mate that they were even using words which I did not know, namely, perspicuous. It at least was worth a good laugh when I looked it up in the dictionary and found: "perspicuous - plain to the understanding esp. because of clarity and precision of presentation". -- Jim Vallino Siemens Corporate Research, Inc., Princeton, NJ jrv@demon.siemens.com princeton!siemens!demon!jrv (609) 734-3331
