This implant resembles the femur (of course) and therefore has a large amount of curved surface area, which makes scanning difficult. The area for the scan is about 5x2x2 inches and I'd like the system to have a resolution on the order of 1/1000 of an inch. Does anyone out there know of any companies that might be able to help me ? I know I can build my own, but time is of the essence. Please reply to me since I do not read the news all that often.
