Message-ID: Date: 1 Nov 90 18:41:23 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 17 Does the AMS_NoDomainPreferredOnLocalMail actually work? I was hoping that once I set this in AndrewSetup, I could start using UUCP bang addresses, without having to bother about what domain will get tacked onto it. I.e. I was hoping that when I specify an address mtgzx!jis I would get mtgzx!jis after address validation instead of mtgzx!jis@domain, but that does not happen. I still get mtgzx!jis@domain, no matter what I do with NoDomainPreferredOnLocalMail. I am running AMS in Pacth 7 Rel 3 of Andrew. What is AMS_NoDomainPreferredOnLocalMail supposed to do anyway?
